Hero Backstory:
Hyprace hails from the nomadic Ursa Tribe of Aruk-Nal who roam the Antarctic Regions of Newerth. Predominately a barbaric warrior tribe, Hyprace strayed away from their traditions and studied the Glacial Arcanus, however, his unique acquired ability to manipulate the elements of ice and frost led to his exile. He roams upright on his hind paws as a massive, woolly, white beast, but he now accepts he has no purpose, no chance of returning to his kind, so he fights without cause in the lost ranks of the Hellbourne.

Hyprace is an extremely versatile hero when it comes to taking on roles as he has the potential to effectively fulfill almost every role besides hard carry. His abilities are more aimed at early- and mid-game domination. Used correctly Hyprace can be a solo, surprise ganker or an excellent supporter in mass team fights as his abilities are beneficial to the team and not only in his individual favor. All in all he is a hero that is completely at your disposal, skill build and item build wise.

Hyprace emanates a spine chilling wave which lowers the core temperature of enemy units in a radius around him.

Activation:
A Radial aura blasts from Hyprace's being slowing enemy units movement and attack speed by 5/10/15/20% for 3/5/7/9 seconds, however the lowering of their core temperature makes enemies more resistant to taking damage which increases their armor by 4/6/8/10% for the first 2/3/4/5 seconds. While more resilient in the earlier stages, a Frost bite effect plagues them in the later stages for 1/2/3/4 seconds where they take 2/3/4/5% of their health per second. Hyprace embraces the lowered body temperature and experiences the half the armor gain for the full duration.

Visual:
White, foggy frost ripples from Hyprace's feet in a vine-like fashion to each individual enemy unit after he lets loose a powerful roar in a summoning stance.

Activation:
Hyprace infuses his paws with a glacial energy, boosting his auto-attack damage by 10/15/20/25%, but slowing his attack speed by 2.5/5/7.5/10%. Each auto-attack has a 7.5/10/12.5/15% chance to Envelope the foe on impact in coat of ice which stuns for 0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5 seconds and then explodes for 80/120/160/200 magic damage in a 50 unit radius. This effect lasts for 4/6/8/10seconds.

Visual:
Hyprace's paws glow a dull light blue for the duration of Glacial Arcanus. His attack speed is slowed as he requires greater concentration to successfully infuse his attack with the Enveloping characteristic. The Enveloping visual consists of the foe being frozen in a layer of ice for the stun duration, followed by an explosion of ice shards which damage enemies in the area. The foe is then released from its frozen state.

Activation:
Hyprace channels the attack for 1 second, after the duration an ethereal entity of himself bursts forward at a single target which smashes into them for 100/150/200/275 magic damage. The entity damages all enemies in its path for 50/75/100/125 magic damage, but for every unit passed through 25 magic damage is subtracted off the total damage dealt to the selected target. Targeted heroes experience a 1,5 second stun on impact.

A dull, light blue entity in the shape of Hypace burst from his being toward an intended foe leaving a trail of ice in its path.

Hyprace's natural habitat in the Arctic regions have left his body accustomed to lower temperatures. To combat the immense heat of the tropical region of Newerth, Hyprace summons a coat of glacial magic to envelope his body, lowering his core temperature and combating the tropical climate which give Hyprace a range of passive boosts.

Activation:
The glacial coat forms a shield which has the capacity of 10/15/20% of Hyprace's health, in addition he experiences a 5/7,5/10% increase in health and mana regeneration, 7,5/10/12,5% of damage is reflected back to enemies, as well as a 5/7,5/10% attack and movement speed increase. The shield lasts for 20/25/30 seconds.

Visual:
A bright, blue shimmering coat envelopes Hyprace's body and slowly fades until the shield's time period ends - it then dissipates with a dull radial surge.
