Primary Role
Ganker
Secondary Role
Semi-carry
Role Notes:
The Blade Dancer's main objective is to strike, and strike hard so ganking is a top priority when it comes to playing her. Alike Swiftblade, her attacks will be able to dish out a lot of damage during mid-game which is where she further excels in crushing heroes. Depending on how you build her, she can hit Hard Carry status but it all depends on how well you fulfill the ganker role.
Ability 1 Name
Twin Fury
Ability 1 Action Type
Target - Enemy Units
Ability 1 Notes:
Doing an X slash using both blades, the force alone is able to slice through an enemy's body. Due to that, the attack is able to travel a distance before it becomes barely noticeable but due to the nature of the attack it is only fully effective if nothing is in the way to dull some of the damage.Image: Think of Dampeer's flight except this does not transport the hero to the target.
Note: When the X passes by an enemy unit, it will deal its current damage to that target and next target will get -10 damage of that.
Example:
Z Cast target
Y
X
U You
At level 4, X will be dealt 300 damage. Y will be dealt 290. Z will be dealt 280.
Mana Cost: 90/100/110/120
Cooldown: 14 seconds.
Type: Physical damage.
Travel Speed: A bit slower than Chipper's rockets.
Radius: 140 projectile [Valkyrie javelin]
Level 1: 150 damage. -10 damage for each other enemy it passes before hitting target.
Level 2: 200 damage. -10 damage for each other enemy it passes before hitting target.
Level 3: 250 damage. -10 damage for each other enemy it passes before hitting target.
Level 4: 300 damage. -10 damage for each other enemy it passes before hitting target.
Sin effect: If Sin's Rage is activated, when the target is struck by Twin Fury the target is slowed for -5%/-10%/-15%/-20% move speed for 5 seconds. This will cause the X to show up as Red.
Glory effect: If Glory's Shine is activated, the damage dealt to the target will be increased by 20/30/40/50 damage and for each target it passes it will heal Blade Dancer for 20/30/40/50 life per enemy. This will cause the X to show up as Green.
Normal: The X will appear white.
Ability 2 Name
Sharpness
Ability 2 Action Type
Passive
Ability 2 Notes:
Blade Dancer's blades are her main attraction, and in such she always keeps them in tip top shape making sure they are always to maximum sharpness. This causes not only her attacks to have an easier time bypassing enemy armor but her skills as well.Blade Dancer's attack and skills will ignore 1/2/3/4 physical armor.
Also after not attacking for 6 seconds (There will be a counter) the next attack will deal an extra 20/30/40/50 physical damage.
Ability 3 Name
Sin and Glory
Ability 3 Action Type
Toggle
Ability 3 Notes:
The wisdom of swords play have taught many that The blade is an extension of one's arm but this has taken it to another level. Blade Dancer has gone as far as naming her blades and are able to imbue them with different abilities. [Think of Maliken's Sword of the Damned] Can be toggled off.The Blade Dancer was born right handed which she considers is her stronger hand, so she holds Sin due to the fact she mainly delivers her final blow with her right blade. Over time, the sword has taken a thirst for blood and each slash will feel more painful as it draws more blood per swing. However with this attack it requires partial sacrifice from the wielder.
Sin's Rage: Causes 5/10/15/20 physical damage per second over 5 seconds. [Does not stack - overlaps]
Each attack will cost 5/5/10/10 mana.
The left hand wields the sword Glory which has been known to bring light even in the darkest area. The sword has been given the title 'Life bringer' which is actually an ironic name to be given. What it really does is each attack from it drains the enemy of their life force giving some of it to the Blade Dancer. The great thing about Glory though, is that it is giving and does not require any sort of sacrifice to use it. [Counts as mana combustion so will not stack with Nullfire Blade mana burn]
Glory's Shine: Drains 5/10/15/25 of the enemy's mana and gives it to Blade Dancer.
Ability 4 Name
Dancing Shadow
Ability 4 Action Type
Target - Ground
Ability 4 Notes:
After careful study of Swiftblade, the Blade Dancer has come up with her own variation of Blade Frenzy, one that is fully fitting of her battle name. She first starts by "dancing" with her blades mesmerizing all the enemies on the field, during this she is able to move freely while the image of her follows slowly towards her dealing massive amounts of damage to all enemies it passes. In a 1000 range, she is able to move immediately (blink) to a spot and her image will follow Blade Dancer's real location. In this time, her actual self can not be seen but she is able to attack who she wants.Note: This will count as invisibility so it can be seen with dust/eye/revelation wards, and due to the image moving towards her this will cause her location to be figured out easily but the main objective of this skill is to deal a lot more damage due to her image and her own attacks.
Mana Cost: 200/250/300
Cooldown: 120/110/100 seconds
Image: The image CAN be destroyed, but it only takes 40% damage Blade Dancer would. It is magic immune.
Duration: 5/7/9 seconds.
Move speed: The image moves at the speed of 400. When it reaches Blade Dancer, it does not disappear, it will last the whole duration. Attacking or using her spells/items will not cause her to come out of invisibility until duration is over.
Damage: Each second it is in melee range (including on top of them) of an enemy, it will deal 100/150/200 Physical damage.
Image help: After "blinking" within a 1000 range, an image is placed at her prior location and will start the animation symbolizing she is in Dancing Shadow. Imagine something on the lines of an image doing Swiftblade's blade frenzy that continuously moves towards the Blade Dancer. During this time, the real Blade Dancer can either make a run for it or attack and slow the target letting the image keep up causing this to basically be a double attack.
Synergy: This works very will with the first skill in addition to Sin's Rage, the slow from it will give time for the image to catch up and deliver the maximum amount of damage.
End Note: I realize it can equal a LOT of damage, but due to it being over time and at a set move speed, this will result in it being easy to counter which is the main weakness of this skill. If quick enough, an enemy can blink/tablet/stun or out run the image, on top of that since it is physical damage it can be countered by void talisman. So in that sense, if you can not use it to kill, you can always save it to make an escape because 1000 range is quite far.
