Hero Backstory:

A man of few words, Spartan was the king of a militaristic and socially stratified country, born of nobility and master of fighting. As far away as his kingdom was from the mainland, it mattered not to those daemons whose shrines and portals were summoned forth from the same earth they so much wanted to destroy. Equipping himself with his shield, his weapons, and his unbreakable spirit, the Spartan rallies the Legion into one effective force.

Spartan is a unique defensive carry, that is equipped to destroy heroes, especially other carrys in a 1 on 1 fight. Spartan is equipped with skills that boost his defense, boost his offense against certain foes, and a damaging spell.

His ultimate, Spartan Cohorts, summons his fellow spartans that aid you in combat. They boost your dps capability while performing extra maneuvers when you activate your Q or W.

He is well equipped to add damage early on with his Piercing Spear, while being an incredible fighter late game with his Legendary Battle Techniques and his Shield Formation.

Spartan swiftly throws his spear at a location, dealing damage to a unit and those behind it.

Cooldown: 10 Seconds

Throws a spear at target location in an arc, dealing 60/80/100/120 + Attack Damage in Physical Damage to a unit in the center radius of the spear. Deals half damage to 1/1/2/3 unit(s) directly behind the target in a row.

It won't be long before they fear my spears more than your whips.

When it is better to have defence than offence, Spartan uses his shield formation, greatly adding to his defensive power at the cost of speed.

Slows Move Speed for 25/20/15/10%.
Slows Attack Speed by 40/30/20/15%.
Slows Turn Rate by 90/70/50/30%.

Passively reduces melee attack damage by 20/30/40/60% from the front, including splash damage.
Passively blocks 20/30/40/60% of incoming ranged attacks from the front.

Spartan has had years of battling a myriad of opponents, giving him the edge when fighting against certain types of foes.

After 8/7/6/5 successful attacks on 1 enemy hero in a row, passively enhances your attacks based on the attribute of the hero. Attacking a different unit, or not attacking it after 4 seconds will reset this skill.

Normal: Spear (when not attacking a specific hero)

Strength: Halbard
Attacks deal extra damage equal to 1/2/3/4% of that hero's Maximum Hitpoints in True Damage.

Intelligence: Flail
Attack Speed is reduced by 20/30/40/50%, but you have a 20/30/40/50% chance to stun for 2 seconds on attack.

Agility: Sword
5/10/15/20% of incoming enemy's attacks will be Parried, meaning his attack will be canceled as soon as it lands, and your next attack deals 25/50/75/100 Physical Damage. The damage boost buff last 3 seconds. Will not stack the extra damage if you have it already. Does not proc to attacks that are blocked.

Summons your fellow Spartans. Your enemies have no chance when faced against an elite squadron.

Type: Summon Unit
Mana Cost: 100/150/200 mana
Cooldown: 100 seconds

Summons 1/2/3 Cohorts for 10/15/20 seconds. They are placed 1. to your right, 2. to your left, and 3. behind you. They move with you, but they never leave their positions, loosely surrounding you. They do not get stuck as easily as other units, and always keep up with you, teleporting with you as well. If a Spartan Cohort is moved away by a Physical Pull effect, then he quickly runs back to the group after being affected.

They attack the unit your are attacking, initiating their attack in unison with you (same attack speed), and only attack when you do. The ones on your side are melees, but the one behind you is 450 ranged. Their attacks deal 50 Physical damage.

Spartan Cohorts have 500/1000/1500 Hitpoints and are Magic Immune and Immune to Stun. They cannot change allegiance.

*Activating your active spells will make them perform special maneuvers:

Shield Formation:
Each Cohort will tighten up and cover your open sides, giving you Shield Formation's defensive bonuses on the spots that they cover. They will follow tightly in a circle.
At level 3, this means that you get the damage block from all sides instead of just the front.
At level 3, a maximum of 1 unit that is inside this circle will get the same damage block you have.

Piercing Spear:
Each cohort will shoot 1 spear alongside the one you throw, adding a total of 50/100/150 physical damage to your spear spell, and immobilizing the enemy unit for 0.5/1/1.5 seconds.

A Spartan never fights alone.

I disliked because of:

Ulti is way to OP at 11/16. It needs a tweak/change.
Spartan is Agility. I dont like that.
3rd skill seems interesting, but is not really neccessary.
The manacost of his stance is WAY to high and not worth leveling in the beginning. This leads to a "you-must-lvl-this" situation.

To be honest, i wouldnt like to have this hero in the game, but nice concept anyhow.

I might. Seems as if the major concern would be with the all around defence, but imo Drunken's ult offers better protection, and that is why I purposfully did not having magic defence on his skills.

as much as i highly dislike this dick, this hero is actually decent and am considering t-up'ing it since it seems almost complete and i would enjoy using this - check feedback
