The Frog Knight initiates a coordinated strike against a targeted foe with the aid of a friendly hero in a cross formation.
The strike is initiated by first activating the ability and then selecting the desired allied hero to coordinate the strike with, then selecting the enemy hero to attack. Both The Frog Knight and the selected Allied hero must be within range (700 units) of the target enemy, if either are not in range the Frog Knight will automatically walk towards the target ally until they are in range.
If they cannot get within range (for example if the target blinks out of vision) the ability will be cancelled and will need to be re-initiated from the beginning.
For anti-grieving purposes, allies can switch off the Frog Knights ability to use them in the Cross Slash by turning off their help button.
The selected allied hero can move freely until the attack is initiated, for example if the Frog Knight needs to get closer the allied hero can move and cast other abilities, once the Frog Knight is close enough they will both automatically cast the Cross Slash.
Once initiated, both the Frog Knight and the selected allied hero of choice will immediately charge directly at the targeted enemy in a line from their position to the enemies, phasing through terrain, trees, and units until the strike is complete. All enemies in either path will take damage and be stunned by whichever hero the path belongs, combining the damage and stun once they reach and cross the targeted enemy hero. Both heroes will pass the targeted hero slightly once they strike him.
Target hero can be 700 units away but both heroes will strike to 750 units, making a cross.
Upon completion of the slash both heroes who initiated it will remain where they are after striking.
*Note: If the ability is activated and then an enemy is selected, the Frog Knight will initiate the strike by himself immediately, but without the aid of an ally resulting in less damage. Still phasing through terrain, trees, and units.
*Also Note: Upon casting, both the Frog Knight and the Allied heroes path will leave a faded red mark on the ground behind them to show where the area of effect is. A picture will be attached to demonstrate.
Only the selected enemy target and a small area around him (125 radius) can be hit by the damage and stun of both the Frog Knight and the Allied Hero, all others take damage from only one of them. Making it possible to do the full damage and stun to more than one enemy hero, but only if they are very close to each other at the time on impact. This makes timing and skill a factor to get the most from the ability.
This ability is designed to scale with items and his own attack damage, giving the Frog Knight great late game potential.
